Round greenstone pendant (2.8 cm in diameter) with silver koru on silver wire. The Koru is representative of a new fern leaf unfurling; symbolising new life, growth, strength and peace. It is a widely recognised symbol of New Zealand, a land of ferns; and often used in Maori art, carving and tattoos.
